Aadhaar Card – download Online – New Delhi : People those who have applied for Aadhaar cards but not yet received the cards need not wait to receive by post. You can directly download Aadhaar card from the UIDAI website. Postal department finds difficult to deliver nearly five lakh Aadhaar cards by post.
Indian Government made all the arrangement to link Aadhaar cards with all the government welfare scheme. Aadhaar card is now necessary to get subsidy on domestic gas cylinders and the last date for linking Aadhaar card with LPG cylinder subsidy is 15th March, 2013.
Keeping this view, Government has made arrangements to download Aadhaar card directly from the UIDAI website.
How to download Aadhaar Card
Applicants must visit UIDAI website http://eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
Applicants must provide the following details
- 14 digits enrolment numbers
- enrolment time
- name of the applicant and
- PIN code number
After registering pass word will be received in the mobile. If the mobile number was not registered at the time of registration, the applicants will not be able to receive the password.
The password received by the applicant should be entered in the website to get a PDF file that contains the details of the aadhaar card.
This should be downloaded and taken printout.
This can be used as Aadhaar card.
Before downloading Aadhaar cards it also possible to update the details.
Click ‘Update your Aadhaar Data’ link that appears on the right side of Aadhaar site.
Password will be received in the mobile.
The received password should be entered in the site to view all the details that can be updated.
To update the details such as date of birth and address, supporting documents have to be uploaded online and an acknowledgement will be received by the applicant.
New Aadhaar card will be sent by post to the applicant.
