BJP-AAP clash in Delhi, Lucknow, Gujarat, Kejriwal’s convoy attacked


bjp-aap-clashLucknow: After protest by the Aam Aadmi Party outside the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office in Delhi, the AAP and the BJP workers have taken to the streets in Lucknow. A group of nearly 20 AAP supporters marched towards the BJP headquarters in Lucknow.

A clash between AAP-BJP members has also been reported from Gujarat where AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal was detained earlier in the day. The BJP and AAP workers confronted each other at Kharoi village on Bhachau where Kejriwal is scheduled in about half an hour. BJP workers are threatening to lie on the road to prevent Kejriwal from travelling.

While the BJP is maintaining that the AAP workers indulged in the fight, AAP members said that there were protesting peacefully. AAP has the right to protest peacefully. Several of our workers have been admitted to hospital,” AAP leader Ashutosh said confirming that at least 24 persons were injured in the attack in Delhi.
