Congress will get 120+ seats Karnataka Assembly Elections


SiddaramaiahBangalore: Congress leader and chief ministerial candidate Siddaramaiah expressed confidence that his party will get absolute majority in Karnataka Assembly as the counting of votes for May 05 Assembly Elections began amid tight security on Wednesday.Taking to reporters, the Congress leader said, “My confidence is always there. Congress will get 120+ seats.”

“We will not need to be in any alliance,” he added.Rejecting speculations that the ruling BJP will gain from the intense poll campaigning by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Siddaramaiah said, “What magic does Modi has? He has no magic. Karnataka is a secular state. Rahul Gandhi has done so many programmes here.”

Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Assembly also categorically ruled out that Congress party is in talks with either Janata Dal-Secular or BS Yeddyurappa’s KJP.”We will not need any help from any party,” he said.
