Cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu Hospitalized With Life Threatening Disease


Cricketer-Navjot-Singh-SidhFormer Indian cricket star turned politician and one of the most electrifying commentators in modern cricket, Navjot Singh Sidhu has been hospitalized with a life threatening disease called cute deep vein thrombosis (DVT). Sidhu has been admitted to Apollo Hospitals in Delhi, where his condition is said to be stable.

DVT be dangerous of not treated on time. Doctors revealed that Sidhu has been put on blood thinners and he has been recovering well. Sidhu’s wife and BJP MLA Navjot Kaur revealed that Sidhu had suffered an attack of ‘Deep Vein thrombosis’ following an injury during Kailash Yatra.

The most animated and outspoken cricketer in Indian cricket, Sidhu is highly  popular for his ‘Sidhuism one liners’. The former BJP MP from Amritsar tweeted a photograph of him on the hospital bed and said, “Down but Not Out! Life threatening disease (DVT) With God’s Grace will recover. Life is Fragile, handle with Prayer.”

Sidhu played for India in 136 ODIs and  51 Tests between 1983 and 1999.
