Demanding Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh, Pratyekha Hoda Sadhana Samithi has protested on Saturday in New Delhi and submitted a petition to Ambedkar statue as a mark of protest seeking Special Status to AP. With the next session of Parliament on Budget to begin from Monday (Mar 5, 2018), the non-political Joint Action Committee (JAC) and Pratyekha Hoda Sadhana Samithi have called on for protests in Delhi.
Asking the Centre to respond immediately, the JAC and Pratyekha Hoda Sadhana Samithi have given an ultimatum to Union Ministers and ruling MPs issuing a stern warning of attacking their residences in Delhi.
The two unions have demanded for Special Package to Rayalaseema region and Uttarandhra region besides Special Category Status to AP.
Meanwhile, TDP has decided to fight in parliament. MPs Ram Mohan Naidu, Galla Jayadev, Konakalla Narayana Rao and other TDP MPs have stated that they would go all out in Parliament to embarrass BJP. Naidu has also told his party MPs to fight aggressively and doesn’t mind even getting suspended for the cause of people of AP.
TDP chief and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu is going to write letters to all national political parties and major regional parties seeking their support for AP.
