Killi Krupa Rani Obtains Jagan’s Consent


Former Union Minister Killi Krupa Rani tendered her resignation to the primary membership of the Congress Party. Today, She met YS Jaganmohan Reddy in Lotus Pond to seek his consent for joining YCP.

Speaking to media persons, Killi Krupa Rani informed that she will be joining YCP in Amaravati on 28th of February. She expressed her willingness to work for making YS Jagan the next CM of Andhra Pradesh.

Kill Krupa Rani showed faith in the BC Declaration announced by YS Jagan during BC Garjana. She accused Chandrababu Naidu of applying use & throw policy for BCs. ‘Naidu kept changing his stand on Special Category Status. People of AP won’t trust him anymore. I am against TDP-Congress alliance. Wrote a letter to Rahul Gandhi opposing the tie-up. Jagan is a leader who keeps his promises. Didn’t shift loyalties to YCP aspiring for ticket. Joined the party unconditionally. Took this decision with the sole aim of making Jagan, CM of AP,’ she said.

From 2009 to 2014, Killi Krupa Rani served as Srikakulam MP. She was the Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology in Manmohan Singh’s cabinet.
