Jashodaben has been one of the most sought after persons in Gujarat, ever since BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi officially acknowledged his wife, while filing his nomination papers in Vadodara in Gujarat. Various media crews have returned empty hand after they have gone to meet Jashodaben at her hometown. They were told that she left on a pilgrimage and would return only after the declaration of election results.
However, the real reason behind her decision to go on a pilgrimage seems to be different. She was managed to go out of her home town, so that she can stay out of the media glare till the elections get completed.
As per the reliable source, as soon as Modi declared that he is married, Hindu activists and security personnel dressed as pilgrims arrived at her doorstep in her home town. Claiming that her wish for a Char Dham Yatra had come true, they immediately took her to a mountain top Ashram run by Baba Ramdev in Rishikesh in Uttarakhand. It is reported that she is likely to spend the remainder of the elections in this Ashram with minders posing as pilgrims keeping an eye on her.
