Narayana demands All-Party Meet Again on Telangana

CPI-NarayanaNew Delhi: CPI state secretary K. Narayana has demanded Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde to call an all-party meeting on the contentious state bifurcation issue.

Narayana has suggested to the Home minister to take the views of parties on what they want in this regard. The CPI state secretary, whose party is committed to separate Telangana, told Shinde to expedite the process.

Narayana has apprised Shinde of the developments in the state following the UPA government’s nod to formation of Telangana by way of Cabinet approval.

Whatever is the rationale behind the decision to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh state, the mainstream parties in the state are either in a state of confusion, or more importantly, trying to mould the public opinion in their favour by issuing clever statements.
