chiru-and-pranabNew Delhi: Congress leaders in Delhi seem to have come to a conclusion on the shape of alternative dispensation in Andhra Pradesh, with the process of bifurcation still on.

A decision on the new government is expected as early as today, after AICC general secretary in-charge of Andhra Pradesh affairs held a marathon session of consultations with Seemandhra Congress leaders at Congress War room.

Although speculation is rife that a leader from the Kapu community will take over as the CM and lead the party’s campaign in 2014 General and Assembly elections, Delhi leaders refuse to rule out the possibility of President’s rule in the state.

Congress high-command is of the thinking that new political dispensation will be appropriate only in case, the state is divided before elections, but which is a remote possibility.

So one will come to know whether it is a new popular government or President’s rule, that will take over the reins in the state, with only two weeks left to Election Commission’s announcement of 2014 election schedule.
