Sirisha’s father N. Prasada Rao told Banjara Hills police that his daughter had left home to attend shooting at a location outside the city.
“She was in touch with us for three days, but later her mobile phone was switched off. We searched for her at several places, but haven’t been able to trace her till now,” Mr. Rao told police.
Police have registered a case and formed special teams to trace her.
Sirisha had made her debut three years ago as a small-time artiste.
She had played the lead in a film Love Attack and had also signed another film. Her family, which hails from Rajahmundry had come to the city a few years ago and settled at Sri Krishna Nagar near Jubilee Hills. Her father has since been working as a car driver.
