Telugu NRI Mom, Son Murder Case: Still Opened!

Sasikala-NarraIt has been four months since the horrific double homicide of Indian origin Sasikala Narra, 38, and her six-year-old son Anish Narra in New Jersey, and the police have not yet nabbed the culprit.

On March 23rd this year, Hanumantha Rao Narra, an IT professional working for Cognizant, found his wife Sasikala, who worked for Cognizant, and their son, Anish, murdered when he returned home at night from office. The couple resided at Maple Shade Township in Burlington County, New Jersey.

Family members of Sasikala alleged that her husband had plotted the murder. They further alleged that the marriage of Sasikala and Hanumantha Rao had broken down by then as the latter was allegedly having an affair. There were also suspicions of burglary attempt resulting in homicide or hate crime.

There were speculations that Burlington County Prosecutor handed the case to the FBI. However there was no affirmation on the same from the FBI. The Indian American community is vexed with the robotic answers being given by the local law enforcement in the Burlington County whenever confronted with the questions of progress in the case.

It’s perhaps the most cold-blooded crime ever to happen in the Indian American community in the US, and the authorities have not yet arrested the culprit.
