Balakrishna plays 3 different roles in the movie as a father, son, grand son where the old getup in the movie has a little political which can be seen from the recently released trailers and promo videos..Lakshmi rai,Saloni is playing as a lead role in the movie, jayasudha is playing a important role in the movie. This action entertainer is a political satire film, which takes a dig at the policies of various political parties.

Overview:

Harish Chandra Prasad (Balayya – old char) is a man of masses who dedicates his entire life for the people. He strives for an international funding for a iron ore project. He gets it and starts acquiring Government lands illegally occupied by factionists. In the process, gets killed. His son Rama Krishna Prasad (Balayya – middle char) is no less than his father in serving people. Fate separates Rama Krishna Prasad and his son, Babi (Young Balayya). And after 25 years, Babi meets his family but interestingly, his father does not accept him. What is the reason behind? How is the peace restored in the family and the regions forms the actual story.

Performances:

Bala Krishna is serene as Harish Chandra Prasad. He reminded of Senior NTR in several shots. The character is very shot but will entertain fans. And the middle get up as Rama Krishna Prasad forms the central part of the story. The character is very powerful. His dialogue delivery is excellent and is extremely effective as always. His get-up is highly ferocious and rough. The other character of Babi is also passable and has come very good comedy scenes and fights.

Saloni has very little to offer and Lakshmi Rai was confined to skin show. Jaya Sudha played the wife of Harish Chandra Prasad’s wife and she carried the short yet important role with grace. Pradeep Rawat is good in the role of Antagonist. Rest all are good in limited roles. Brahmanandham’s comedy track is an asset to the movie.
Technical Performance:

There is no novelty in the Story of the movie, director Parchuri Murali follows a time-tested formula but made sure that there are ample commercial elements that satisfy the thrust of masses and fans. He projected Bala Krishna in the right way and extracted powerful mass performance. Screenplay of the movie is predictable. Direction is good in parts. He had stuffed the movie with political dialogues having indirect references to current day politics, He had tamed the commercial elements in the second half and added more family drama to make this movie a universally appealing one.

Sameer Reddy’s cinematography technique is good. Art by Chinna is good even though he had commercial constraints. Kalyani Mallik’s Rerecording deserves special mention. The song he had composed for the movie suited Balayya’s image but to normal audience, they might be a bit outdated.

Final Say:

Balakrishna is due a hit at the box office after Simha. But finally he quenched the thirst of fans. Parchuri Murali had a definite idea of the fans’ expectations and took care of every detail. And at the same time, he added some good sentiment to owe the family audience. This sentiment might be a bit of hindrance to mass audience but will work out big time with family and normal audience. Fans will be delighted with the movie and others will find it another mass masala from Balayya.
