Performance: The presence of Murli Sharma in Vijetha is one of plus point of this film. Murli Sharma as Srinivasa Rao, father of Ram has done fantastic job. It’s a role that suits him. Murli Sharma performed with ease and justified the character well. Kalyaan Dhev performed well. He however should do something more improving his mannerisms, body language and expressions to reach the next level. Malavika Nair looks cute and is ok in her performance. Remaining all had done fine job in their roles.
Technical: Story of Vijetha is simple and predictable. Cinematography by Senthil Kumar is excellent and creates mood for the film. Background music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar is strength to the movie. Dialogues are good. Editing is neat. Production values of Vaarahi Chalana Chitram are decent. Screenplay should have been better.
Analysis: Vijetha is all about the story of a father, who can go to any extent to make his son’s dreams come true. Rakesh Sashi should have worked on the story of Vijetha before proceeding ahead with the project. Kalyaan Dhev, who plays carefree youngster, has disappointed the audiences. Murali Sharma’s extraordinary performance is the plus point of Vijetha. Routine story-line, and predictable narration are the biggest drawbacks.
