Second film syndrome is quite prevalent in Tollywood. Even big directors like Vinayak and Puri Jagannadh delivered a failure after debuting with a super hit. Recently, young director Sujeeth who scored a hit with ‘Run Raja Run’ failed to make his second film ‘Saaho’, a success.
Looks like director Venkatesh Maha decided to play it safe. This talented youngster who made a good debut by making a highly acclaimed film like ‘C/o Kancherapalem’ is reportedly working on the script of a remake for this second. Apparently, he is liked the Malayalam film ‘Maheshinte Prathikaaram’ starring Fahad Fassil as main lead. The film revolves around the art of photography and the concept intrigued Venkatesh Maha as per sources. So, he decided to remake this film in Telugu and score a hit. The cast and crew are not yet revealed.
Hope he overcomes this second film syndrome and get a hit with this remake.
