Several plans are being made to introduce the latest South sensation Vijay Deverakonda in Bollywood. Many ace Bollywood producers like Karan Johar, Siddharth Roy Kapoor, and Sajid Nadiadwala are coming up with new stories to cast Vijay in the lead role. Looks like even Vijay is quite interested to get launched in Bollywood but is waiting for the right script.
The actor will be flying off to Mumbai in September first week to attend a few meeting with these top producers. If everything goes well, he might even sign his maiden Bollywood project. When a Bollywood critic asked about his B-Town entry, Vijay said, ”When it happens it will happen. I am not holding my breath for it. Of course, I would love to have the pan-India audience that Bollywood provides. But I am equally happy with my work and audience in Telugu cinema.”
”There’s no desire to see Bollywood as a progression in my career. It can only be an extension, not a progression,” he further added. The actor was earlier offered to star in the Hindi remakes of Dear Comrade and Arjun Reddy but he rejected by saying that he can’t do the same role twice.
