Khaali Peeli Song Triggered Outrage Among Netizens

Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday starrer ‘Khaali Peeli’ film released ‘Beyonce Sharma Jayegi’ Video song on Zee music YouTube channel on Monday. Lyrics of this song were written by Kumar Raj Shekhar and netizens are trolling the writer for penning racist lyrics.

The song is an attack on dark-skinned people and promotes colourism. The line ‘tujhe dekh ke goriya, Beyonce sharma jayegi’ which translates to ‘Your fair skin will make Beyonce shy’ disappointed the people.

Well, Alia Bhatt’s Sadak 2 trailer received the most dislikes, now Khaali Peeli seems to be on the line with already 558K dislikes.

The film is helmed by director Maqbool Khan while Himanshu Kishan Mehra, Ali Abbas Zafar bankrolled it. Hit musician’s duo Vishal and Shekar composed music for this film.
