As a hero, Venkatesh likes to explore different characters but his look out to be part of remakes as they can guarantee minimum returns did hamper his career at times from going in one direction to the pinnacle.
But the actor prefers them more as they have been his success secret for most part of his career. Now, his eye is on Asuran and soon the film will go on floors.
Suresh Babu gave the reins to Hanu Raghavapudi, who showed that he is a competent director with Andala Rakshasi and Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha but failed miserably in handling big budgets with LIE and Padi Padi Leche Manasu.
This is a shocking decision from him but the producer worked it out with a director like Teja, for Nene Raju Nene Mantri with his son, Rana, so he can find a way with Hanu too.
The only problem for them is to adapt the movie well to Telugu nativity as it seems to be rooted in Tamil lure. Also, making Venkatesh look slightly younger than his age could be key for the film’s success.
With more Telugu people watching such movies in original language, remakes have to offer something much more fresh than they saw in the original. Let’s see how competently Hanu will handle this film?
