After the failure of ‘Dear Comrade’, Vijay Devarakonda became extra-cautious in choosing his next scripts. He lined-up three projects till now. The first one is ‘World Famous Lover’ with Kranti Madhav and the next flick is with Puri Jagannadh titled ‘Fighter’. Apart from these two, he is doing a bilingual with director Anand Annamalai.
Recent reports from the industry circles are that he will be joining hands with ‘Ninnu Kori’ and ‘Majili’ director Siva Nirvana for a feel-good entertainer. Apparently, this film will be produced by Tollywood’s bigwig Dil Raju. This is still not decided as Vijay is forcing Dil Raju to make ‘Asian Cinemas’ Sunil Narang as a partner in this film. This may be due to some unknown connections between Vijay and Sunil but Dil Raju is yet to agree to this deal which is why this movie is not announced till now as said by the sources.
Dil Raju is currently co-producing Mahesh Babu’s ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ which is going to release on 12th January and is also bankrolling the Hindi remakes of ‘Jersey’ and ‘F2’. On the other hand, Vijay’s maiden production venture, ‘Meeku Matrame Cheptha’ ended up as a failure.
