Sankranti business key for ‘Disco Raja’ success!


Sankranti season is completely filled with big releases like ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’, ‘Darbar’ and ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’. Including ‘Entha Manchivaadavura’, around 300 crores of business is riding during this season.

Films like ‘Disco Raja’ and ‘Nishabdham’ which are releasing on Republic weekend are hoping that the Sankranti season will be successful as distributors who get profits will be willing to buy the film for high rates. If Sankranti season ends up in losses, ‘Disco Raja’ has to settle for low rates which means less pre-release business.

Already Ravi Teja’s market took a severe beating because of failures like ‘Touch Chesi Choodu’, ‘Nela Ticket’ and ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’. He pinned a lot of hopes on ‘Disco Raja’ and if the film does low pre-release business, it will damage his market more. So, the entire team is hoping for Sankranti releases to do well at the box-office.
