Attempts to establish herself as a successful actress hasn’t yielded good results for Niharika so far. Both ‘Oka Manasu’ and ‘Happy Wedding’ had failed completely in gaining the acceptance of movie goers. This time, Niharika arrived with a full-length entertainer ‘Suryakantam’. Rough & Tough Attitude of the Mega Girl is the best aspect of this project.
Characterization of Niharika and Rahul Vijay generates ample fun in ‘Suryakantam’. While Niharika is more like a tom boy, Rahul Vijay appears as a youth who struggles to choose one among two beauties in love with him.
Niharika steals the show. Especially, The way she utters ‘Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan’ and shows Middle Finger.
Writer-cum-Director Pranith Bramandapally has done a fine job. Music by Mark K Robin is good. Nirvana Cinemas bankrolled this project. Overall, ‘Suryakantam’ is the best among the three films acted by Niharika till date.
