Uma Maheshwara Ugra Rupasya is a film produced by Arka Media Works who produced Baahubali in the direction of Venkatesh Maha.
The young director made a stunning debut with the film, C/O Kancherapalem and he is looking to come up with his unique take on Malayalam big hit, Maheshinte Prathikaram with the film.
He chose the remake as the movie story needs his different eye to be successfully pulled off on screen in Telugu Cinema. Satya Dev who did make an impression as an actor with many films, is looking to become a lead actor with a market, with this film.
After C/O Kancherapalem, this could be a good change of pace for Venkatesh Maha too. But the film team seems to have taken original songs from Malayalam like other recent remakes and use them in Telugu too.
Vishwa, the lyricist of Asha Pasham song wrote this melody, Ningi Chutte and he did a decent job to match a typical rural melody tune of Malayali cinema in Telugu, with different words than some overused routine ones.
If you can get over the nativity feel that the composition misses, you will enjoy the song as a good melody. Vijay Yesudas, the singer and Bijibal, the composer did a good job.
