Spice launches Stellar series smartphones 520 and 526

Spice Retail Limited on Friday launched Spice Stellar 520 and 526 expanding its Stellar series.

Stellar 520 is an Android KitKat based smartphone. The Quadcore handset has a 12.7 cm HD IPS OGS Full Lamination Display. The new smartphone sports a dual sim (3G+3G) which runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad Core Processor which speeds up the running of apps, games, data and media. With a 1 GB RAM, Stellar 520 comes in an 8.4mm slim body backed with 2 Color panels.

Stellar 520 features 8 mega-pixel AF rear camera with LED flash and a front-facing 2 MP camera. It also has a 1 GB RAM and 4GB ROM (expandable up to 32 GB through a micro SD card). The 2000 MAh battery gives a talk-time of more than 4 hrs and up to 200 hrs hours standby ensuring a strong battery backup. Stellar 520 comes with a free Flip Cover worth RS. 500/-.

Applications like Spice Cloud, Whatsapp, Opera, and OLX etc come pre-embedded with Spice Stellar 520. It also features Wi-Fi Tethering and G-sensor among others. Spice Cloud provides Spice customers with access to user photos/ documents/ music / videos and contacts across the devices along with advanced security and anti-theft features. It also allows the user remote access and remote wipe options through the web interface at http://www.spicecloud.in.

With an MOP of Rs. 8,999/-the Spice Stellar 520 will be available across India through major retail stores, Spice HotSpot stores and http://www.saholic.com.

Stellar 526

Stellar 526, the company’s first Hexa Core powered HD Smartphone with Android KitKat, comes with a 1.5 GHz True Hexa Core Processor and a 12.7 cm On–Cell IPS HD display which will give an enhanced experience with wide angle viewing. Stellar 526 is bundled with features such as 8GB ROM + 1 GB RAM, Mali 450 MP4 600 Mhz GPU, Multicore Gaming support, Clear Motion technology which gives Motion-Blur free video playback at 60 fps which means even if the video is of 30FPS the phone automatically replicates each frame and creates additional layer to lend absolute clarity.
