New Zealanders have made it a habit to end up drawing the matches which they should have won comfortably and taste defeat in the super-over. 3rd and 4th T20 Matches during the ongoing tour of New Zealand has thrilled the Cricket Lovers. Especially, The 130 crore Indians have been loving it like anything.
20th Over bowled by Mohammed Shami in 3rd T20 led to a tie. Batting first in the super over, New Zealand posted a target of 18. While chasing, India require 10 runs in the last two balls for victory. Hitman Rohit Sharma finished in style by slamming two back-to-back sixes in the last 2 balls.
In the 4th T20, New Zealand was in a very comfortable position chasing a target of 166 by the end of 19th over. In the final over bowled by Shardul Thakur, The Black Caps lost 4 wickets and only managed to tie the match.
Kiwis posted a target of 14 in the Super Over. KL Rahul scored a sixer and four in the first two deliveries but got out in the third ball. Then, Skipper Virat Kohli took the responsibility to score the winning runs with a ball to spare.
In the five matches tourney, India managed to win all the four matches played so far. Will New Zealand bounce back at least in the last T20 played on Sunday?
