In the suicide letter of VG Siddhartha who is the Son-in-Law of former Karnataka CM SM Krishna, The Founder of India’s largest coffee chain admitted giving up the fight as he can’t handle the pressure anymore from Private Equity Partners who forced him to buy back shares. He also accused harassment from former DG Income Tax by attaching the Coffee Chain shares, which eventually didn’t allow the Mindtree deal and created cash crunch.
