Kobe Bryant dies in a Helicopter Crash


The entire world is in a state of shock after41-year-old Kobe Bryant, the former Los Angeles Lakers basketball player, died in a helicopter crash in California. This incident took place on Sunday. The retired Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant was traveling in his private helicopter over Calabasas when a fire broke out, that sent the chopper spiraling from the sky. NBA legend Kobe Bryant’s 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Maria Onore, was also killed in this helicopter crash.

Number of Kobe Bryant fans have converged on the Calabasas area where he and eight others were killed in a helicopter crash on Sunday morning that authorities have restricted the area to residents only.

According to the latest update, Kobe Bryant was on his way to his Mamba Sports Academy to coach his daughter Gianna Maria Onore when they died in the helicopter crash. The Mamba Sports Academy was hosting a tournament for young players on Sunday, and all games were cancelled when news of Bryant’ death emerged.

US President Donald Trump and former president Barack Obama, remembered Kobe Bryant on social media after hearing the news of his sudden demise.

Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said that there were no survivors, and according to the flight manifest, there were nine people on board the helicopter.

The cause of the helicopter crash was unknown. The helicopter departed from John Wayne Airport in Orange County at 9:06 am PT. The first 911 call reporting the helicopter crash was received at 9:47 am.
