These reports gained a lot of significance with CM KCR announcing that many sections have been requesting the government to impose lockout once again to get the condition under control.
In his recent press briefing, he hinted at a possible lockout in the areas under GHMC which is the hotspot for the respiratory disease in the city. This resulted in public rushing to the shops.
Famous marts in the city DMart, Reliance Fresh, Ratnadeep, Heritage Fresh along the local marts witnessed long queues outside the marts. These queue lines reminded everyone of the lockout period.
The other day, Karnataka announced a complete lockout in the state every Sunday, which will be implemented from the 5th of July, 2020, and until further orders, the lockout will continue.
