Hyderabad: The meeting between BJP national president Amit Shah and Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan is public knowledge. Although Pawan called it a courtesy call and a formal meeting, there’s more to the rendevouz than what meets the eye.
If a report doing the rounds in political circles is to be believed, then Amit Shah met Pawan at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sources say Modi had asked Shah to convince Pawan to merge his party with the BJP.
Pawan kalyan’s appreciation for Modi as a good leader was seen during his speech in Jana Sena launch meeting. Now, we also know that Modi has met Pawan. The Tollywood Power star also campaigned during the elections and showed that his presence can swing votes. Going by his popularity, Modi has decided to give him a better position.
He feels that Pawan can lead Andhra Pradesh and Telangana campaigns for the BJP. Should this happen, Pawan’s Jana Sena too will go Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam way.
Remember Pawan had said that party was not for power but to question the government? Wonder what the actor would do now with such a tempting offer in his hand.
What do you think? Do you think Pawan should merge his Jana Sena party with the BJP? Share your thoughts in he comments section below.
