Nayak Audio Review

Ram Charan forthcoming film Nayak in VV Vinayak direction Nayak Audio launched on December 17 in Hyderabad. Naayak tracks Music composed by music composer SS Thaman. Ram Charan is pairing up with Kajal Agarwal and Amala Paul in the film and meanwhile, here is the Naayak tracklist and each song review for you

1st Song: Laila O Lailaa

Singers: Shankar Mahadevan, Ranjith, Rahul, Naveen
Lyrics : Chandra Bose

A trade mark Thaman song with extensive usage of drums and other instrumentation. The song began on a high note and continued the tempo through out. This may be Charan’s Intro Song in the movie. Singers have done good job but instrumentation dominated the vocals. There is a very good scope for dances in it.

2nd Song: Kathi Lanti Pilla

Singers: Thaman, Shefali Alvaris
Lyrics: Chandra Bose

A good duet with some unique instrumentation. The song may not sound fresh but the music is sharp and pleasant. The female voice Shefali Alvaris is husky and added new dimension to the song. Thaman himself contributed the male voice. Good one!

3rd Song: Subhaleka Rasukunnaa

Singers: Haricharan, Shreya Ghoshal
Lyrics: Veturi

This is picked up from Chiru’s super hit old song as everybody knows. Thaman seem to have decided not to experiment too much with it. The song is almost same as the old one with very minor changes in instrumentation. Not so exciting on audio, we should wait and see how the picturization goes..

4th Song: Oka Choopukae Padipoyaa

Singers: Shreya Ghoshal
Lyrics: Chandra Bose

This song started off with a slow beat and the tempo increased as the song progressed. Lyrics penned by Chandra Bose are good. Again the instrumentation is good and added to the feel of the song.

5th Song: Nellorae

Singers: Jaspreet Jasz, Suchitra
Lyrics: Sahiti

This is an Item Song in which Bollywood item girl, Scarlett Wilson shook her hips. A complete mass song which has all the elements to woo masses crazy. Singers Jaspreet has done a decent job, Suchitra seem to be a good fit.

6th Song: Hey Naayak

Singer : Vijay Prakash, Bindhu Mahima
Lyrics : Bhaskara Bhatla

The title song of the movie. It started with a low beat and the tempo increased as it progressed. Again a MASS Oriented Song. Lyrics sounded a bit funny. Bindu Mahima’s vocals are too good. Vijay Prakash had commended her well too.

Final Verdict:

An out and out mass album from Thaman which will be a perfect fit for a mass entertainer like Nayak. Thaman’s instrumention is excellent but is a bit let down in lyrics department
