Sandalwood actress Sanjjanaa Galrani, who was arrested in an alleged drug case, has been granted bail on medical grounds after she moved the Karnataka High Court. She was arrested on September 8 by CCB Police.
Along with Sanjjanaa, actress Ragini Dwivedi was also arrested in the drugs probe case. However, she has not been given bail as of now. Both the actresses were charged under various sections in the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act 1985.
It has been over two months since Sanjjanaa was locked in the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison. Justice Sreenivas Harish Kumar issued the bail order on the condition of executing a bond worth Rs 3,00,000 and two sureties of the same amount. The actress has to arrive before the police once in a month and cooperate with the investigation.
