Manchu Vishnu Gets Into The OTT Business!

Popular online streaming websites like Netflix and Amazon are attracting the audience with a wide variety of content starting from horror to action thrillers. The market for OTT platforms has grown rapidly from the past few months courtesy to the theatres being shut down. Film producers, actors and actresses are also getting into the OTT business by producing content exclusively for the digital medium.

Bollywood biggies like Shah Rukh Khan, Kara Johar, Anushka Sharma, Ekta Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar and many others have turned into producers for web series and films on Netflix and Prime Video. This trend is becoming popular in Tollywood too as Allu Aravind established his own OTT platform called ‘Aha’ and is producing original content. Versatile director Krrish Jagarlamudi is also producing some web-series for ‘Aha’. In the same way, Suresh Productions are making some Telugu content for Netflix nowadays.

Now, Manchu Vishnu too stepped into this business. He produced ‘Chadarangam’ which can be viewed exclusively on Zee5. Not just this but the Manchu family is finalising a few scripts and sources say that they will be producing more such content in the coming days and they will be acting in some of them too. Looks like our makers are finding OTT platforms as a good business opportunity.
