As Rhea Chakraborty becomes the prime suspect in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s case, the CBI is investigating every possible angle to find out Rhea’s connection in the alleged murder mystery. Meanwhile, Sushant’s fans and media targeted the Jalebi actress since from the beginning of the case.
To this, several people in the film industry came in support to Rhea and raised voice against the media trials.
After Taapsee Pannu, Vidya Balan hailed Lakshmi Manchu for slamming media trials against Rhea Chakraborty.
“It is so unfortunate that the tragic and untimely death of young Sushant had become a media circus. In the same breath, as a woman, my heart breaks at the vilification of Rhea Chakraborty,” tweeted Vidya Balan.
“Isn’t it supposed to be ‘Innocent Until Proven Guilty’, or is it now ‘Guilty Until Proven Innocent’!? Let’s show some respect for the constitutional rights of a citizen and let the law take its course,” she added.
