Akhil Akkineni’s ‘MEB’ Gets Summer Release Date

Starring Akhil Akkineni and Pooja Hegde, Most Eligible Bachelor is one of the much-awaited films in Tollywood this year. After three straight flops, the young actor has pinned all his hopes on this film entrusting the filmmaking values of director Bommarillu Bhaskar.

On the occasion of Sankranthi, the makers of the film have released new Sankranti special poster featuring Akhil and Pooja Hegde. The tweet read, “Our #MostEligibleBachelor & Bachelorette wishes you all a very happy Sankranthi.”

In the poster, the Butta Bomma is seen gazing at Mr Majnu actor with love and poses with all smiles for the camera. While the Akkineni hero rocked a red shirt over a grey t-shirt in the poster, the AVLP star sported a multi-coloured sweater.

The film was supposed to hit the screens for Sankranthi 2021, but the rom-com is scheduled for a summer 2021 release. The film also stars Eesha Rebba, Aamani, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Jaya Prakash. It has music by Gopi Sundar and cinematography by Pradeep Varma.
