Allu Arjun’s AVPL Is Most-Watched Film On Netflix

Netflix, the popular OTT platform, has announced the names of the top hit South Indian movies which were released in 2020 on the digital streaming platform. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde bagged the top spot among the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam films in the year 2020. In the next place is the Malayalam version of Dulquer Salman and Ritu Varma starrer Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal.

Anna Ben’s Kappela, and Satyadev’s Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya are the next two films that were among the top 10 most-watched films from south India in 2020.

While Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo and Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal had a good theatrical run, Kappela was taken off cinema halls due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya starring Satyadev was exclusively released on the OTT platform due to the closure of theatres.
