The novel coronavirus has infected numerous celebrities worldwide. Majority of the celebs have defeated the virus and got recovered while a few have succumbed to it. South siren Rakul Preet Singh is the latest celebrity to contract the illness. Rakul Preet on Tuesday afternoon announced that she has contracted the virus. The Spyder actress, who recently began shooting for her forthcoming project Mayday, and shared an update on health. In an Instagram post, Rakul wrote, “I’d like to inform everyone that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I have quarantined myself. I am feeling fine and will rest up well so that I can be back at shoot soon. ” She further wrote, “Request everyone who met me to kindly get yourself tested. Thank you and please stay safe.”
On the work front, Rakul will next be seen alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Ajay Devgn in the thriller drama, Mayday. The film is directed and produced by Ajay Devgn. She will also be seen in Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s Check, with Nithiin and Priya Prakash Varrier as her co-stars.
