‘Check’: Trailer Talk

Hero Nithiin who scored a good hit like ‘Bheeshma’ in February last year is back again with an intense thriller like ‘Check’. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Chandrasekhar Yeleti, the film is about a prisoner who is very good at playing chess and facing challenges in real life too. The film is hitting the screens on 26th February and the theatrical trailer is out now.

The trailer doesn’t give away the story but shows that Nithin plays the role of a prisoner who is very intelligent. Despite being a prisoner and called a terrorist, he goes on to play chess tournaments. He even faces a lot of challenges inside the prison which forms an interesting tale. Though the chess part reminds you of the Hollywood series ‘The Queen’s Gambit’, Chandrasekhar Yeleti seems to have added a lot of other intriguing elements to it.

Rakul will be seen as a lawyer while Priya Prakash Varrier plays Nithiin’s love interest. Simran Choudary, Posani, Sampath, Sai Chand, Murali Sharma, Harsha Vardhan and others play important roles in this thriller produced by Bhavya Creations. Kalyani Malik is the music composer while Rahul Shrivastav cranked the camera. The trailer does raise curiosity over this film and we will find more about it on 26th Feb.
