Deepika Padukone Crowned As India’s No. 1 Heroine

Due to coronavirus, the film industry came to standstill for the past few months. Amid these dull days, the India Today-Karvy Insights Mood of the Nation (MOTN) survey revealed that Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has crowned as India’s No. 1 Heroine.

According to the survey, Deepika was chosen as India’s Heroine No. 1 by 16 per cent of those polled in the recent MOTN. It should be noted that Deepika had been on top as well at the January 2020 MOTN poll.

While Deepika retained her top place, Priyanka Chopra is close at second spot with 14 per cent votes, while Katrina Kaif takes the third rank with 13 per cent votes.

Accordingly, Aishwarya Bachchan and Anushka Sharma placed in the next two positions, while Alia Bhatt and Kangna Ranaut tied for the sixth position.
