The much-appreciated Tamil film Asuran is being remade in Telugu by director Srikanth Addala, titled Narappa. Venkatesh Daggubati reprises the role played by Tamil star Dhanush while Priyamani steps into the shoes of Manju Warrier in the original.
The director Srikanth Addala is known for his family entertainers like Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Mukunda and Brahmotsavam. This is the first that the director is helming an intense action drama.
On the occasion of Makar Sankranti, Srikantha Addala and the team has unveiled a perfect family poster which exactly portrays the film like a complete family drama. He showed his mark by showing the happy faces smiling their hearts out. Needless to say, this is a much-needed poster for the occasion.
Narappa is being jointly produced by Suresh Babu and Kalaipuli S Thanu. This film brings together Venkatesh and Priyamani for the first time. The film has locked its release for Summer 2021.
