Popular OTT platform Netflix is coming with a straight Telugu anthology titled ‘Pitta Kathalu’. It is a film about modern and independent women. The four stories in this anthology are directed by four acclaimed directors Nag Ashwin, Nandini Reddy, Tharun Bhascker and Sankalp Reddy. Eesha Rebba, Saanve Meghna, Amala Paul, Shruti Hassan played the lead roles in this flick which is coming out on 19th February. The makers released the theatrical trailer and let us have a look at it.
Tharun Bhascker directed Saanve’s story while Nandini Reddy directed Amala Paul and Jagapathi Babu’s story. Nag Ashwin handled the Shruti Hassan’s thread while Sankalp Reddy took care of Eesha Rebba and Satya Dev’s part. Going by trailer, the makers discussed the women’s issues in a very bold manner.
The trailer is attracting the viewers as they showed women from different cultures and classes. They addressed the pressures and issues they face. The bold take on these stories is pretty new in Tollywood. Manchu Lakshmi, Ashima Narwal, Satyadev. Sanjith Hegde are playing key roles in this anthology. RSVP Movies and Flying Unicorn Entertainments banners are bankrolling this project.
