Rakul Receives Apology From Television Network!

A few months back, the drugs case relating to Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide completely shook Bollywood. The Hindi film industry and the drugs racked became a hot topic and many news channels milked TRP’s out of it. Sushant’s ex-girlfriend Rhea Chakraborthy ended up being the center of this news.

Her good friend Rakul Preet Singh too was targeted by the media as she was questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau officials. The media projected Rakul as a big drug addict and some even stated that she was a dealer. When the drugs case broke out in Tollywood, the officials didn’t say anything conclusive and the names of celebrities that came up didn’t get into any trouble. The same happened in Bollywood too.

But Rakul decided to take revenge on the media channels that tried to defame her and tampered her image. She resorted to a legal battle against those media houses and she came out as the winner. News Broadcasting Standards Authority demanded Zee Network to apologize for Rakul immediately and warned other channels like Times Now, India Today, Aaj Tak, India TV and others too.

The court asked them to remove all the news items on Rakul Preet. Finally, Rakul got her revenge and received an apology from people who spread false news about her.
