With the new rules of having 50% occupancy in theatres and the demoralizing delay, many thought that the collections of’Krack’ would take a severe beating.

But the film’s box-office numbers are surprising everyone as people flocked into the theatres to watch this Sankranti release.’Krack’ ended up being the biggest opening day money-spinner in Ravi Teja’s career. The film impressed the audience with its racy narration and massy action sequences. The film collected over one crore on the first day where the film was screened only from the evening.

After combining the collections of Saturday and Sunday, the film ended up minting a share of 6.25 crores in the Telugu states that too with only 50% occupancy. Ravi Teja’s previous films like’KICK 2′,’Bengal Tiger’ and’Power’ earned 5.8 crores, 5.3 crores and 5.5 crores respectively. With two days left for other Sankranti releases, experts are predicting that the film will reach the profit zone by the end of the Sankranti weekend.
