Shyam Singha Roy Makers Builts A Special Set With Rs 6 Cr

The shooting of Nani’s big budget film ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ flagged off in Hyderabad recently. Touted to be the costliest film in the actor’s career, SSR is being made with a massive budget of Rs 40 crores. It is already reported that the film is based on Kolkata and Bengali backdrop. Now, the makers are in plans to erect to a huge set in Hyderbad for shooting a major portion of the film.

According to the latest reports, the makers are spending a massive Rs 6 crore to build a huge set resembling the Kali Temple and the around streets of Kolkata. For this, they leased 15 acres of land near Shamshabad and the started the construction work for the special set.

The film directed by Rahul Sankrityan and produced by Niharika Entertainment also features Sai Pallavi, Madonna Sebastian and Krithi Shetty in female lead roles. Shyam Singha Roy is expected to hit the theatres in the second half of 2021.
