Dry Dates Pickle pickle made from dates is a unique recipe. Learn how to make/prepare Dry Dates Pickle by following this easy recipe.

Ingredients:  

  1. 250 grams dry Dates (Khajoor)
  2. 1 teaspoon Red chili pepper (Lal Mirchi)
  3. 5 teaspoons Coriander (Dhania) powder
  4. 5 teaspoons aniseed powder
  5. 2 teaspoons white cumin powder
  6. 3/4 or 1 cup Lemon (Nimbu) juice
  7. Salt (Namak) to taste

How to make dry dates pickle:

  1. Boil the dates until a little tender.
  2. Remove the stones and keep them whole.
  3. Dry with a clean cloth.
  4. Mix all the ground ingredients together with a little salt and fill in the dates.
  5. Keep the dates in clean jar.
  6. Mix a little salt with lemon juice and pour over the dates, taking care that dates must be  covered with lemon juice.
  7. Keep aside for 7 days.
  8. Shake the jar every other day and serve after one week.
