Back Bench Student Movie Background  :

Back Bench Student is a romantic love story movie written and directed by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy. Mahat Raghavendra, Piaa Bajpai and Archana Kavi are playing the lead roles along with Brahmanandam and Ali as side kicks.

Back Bench Student deals with an Engineering student Mahat Raghavendra who has 16 backlogs in B Tech and is a back bencher. He loves a girl but she leaves him and flies to foreign. In the meantime, he likes another girl. But the story has a twist as his first love returns and comes back to his life. What happens next should be seen on screen.

Back Bench Student is produced by M.V.K. Reddy under the Shirdi Sai Combines banner and presented by Multidimension Entertainments.

Story

Priyanka (Archana Kavi) & Kartik (Mahat Raghavendra) from the day one in Geetanjali Engineering college become good friends, Basically, Kartik is a backbench student spends his time happily all the 4 years without any goal or interest for studies .  Priyanka leaves to US  and Karthik misunderstandings her that she left him because he has 16 backlogs to his credit. After 1 year , Priyanka  returns to India from US leaving her MS for her love Karthik  ,she finds Kartik drawing Rs.1 lakh salary as hacking expert and also finds  a lady Chaitra (Pia Bajpai) in his life.. What happens to this traingular love story….. the forms the rest of the story.

Performances

Mahat Raghavendra is making his debut with Back Bench Student, has a fresh look and has super energy but expression wise he still lack professionalism. Both the heroines Archana & Pia Bajpai are prettyin looks  but not in acting , Brahmanandam and Ali are good. Others like Sarath Babu, Banerjee and Pragati are ok.

Techinical

Music by Sunil Kashyap, is good,  G.K.’s cinematography is worth, Editing by Dharmendra Kakarala is average. Dialogues are very boring, Screenplay is major flaw for the film , Background is heavy.

 Analysis

Director Madhura Sreedhar Reddy came into the limelight with Sneha Geetham. He made It’s My Love Story last year. Both films were made with new actors. BBS is his 3rd film , but the director failed to deal the script especially the screen play , The movie lacks interest with no twists . The movie is for targeted teen audience with enough love & kiss scenes. The first 30 minutes is good later the film graph drops and second half is pretty confusing and tests the patience of people. The best part of the film is, there is no double ententes or vulgarity. Overall BBS is a silly movie.
