After Vishwaroopam and Kadal controversies, censor board gets tougher and Ameerin Aadhi Baghvan got “A” certificate with so many cuts. Now the latest to join in the list is “Onbathula Guru” which is certified with A. Censor board has given a set of roles and according to that even a film with item number will be issued with “A” certificate and thus Onbathula Guru is certified with “A” say the sources.
Tamil producers always used to get U certificate in order to get the tax exemption but with censor board getting tougher it will be tedious for them to get U certificate and tax exemption. Onbathula Guru has Vinay, Sathiyan, Lakshmi Rai, Premgi Amaren in the lead and it is slated for March 8 release.
