Cast: Ajithkumar, Tamannaah, Nasser, Vitharth, Santhanam, Atul Kulkarni, Pradeep Rawat
Direction: Siva
Genre: Action
Producer:
Tummalapalli Rama stayanarayana
Rating: 3/5

Story:

Vegetable vendor Veerendra (Ajith) lives with his four brothers (Bala, Vidharth, Suhail and Munish). Veerendra is a calm going person unless until someone troubles him. Everyone will be surprised that not only he remains bachelor but also asks his brothers to be so.

Brothers findout that Veerendhra who fights for his supporters, fell in love with Gomati Devi (Tamannah) whose father (Nazar) is a peace loving person. Veerendra tries to stay away from all fights but thugs like Nagaraju (Atul Kulkarni), Veerabhadram(Pradeep Rawat).

Will Veerendra able to win Gomati Devi’s love by staying away from fights? To findout more about it one should watch Veerudokkade.

Performance:

Ajith played a typical rural guy role deviating from his stylish urban roles. He did well but he laced pace to perform dances.Tamanna got little scope for performance. Santhanam entertained with his comedy.

While Nazar,Pradeep Rawat and Atul Kulkarni played their roles according to the script.

Technical:

Music of Devi Sri Prasad is ordinary.Melodies are not great and title track is typical DSP number. His background score is good.Cinematography is good. Editing is fine but songs didnot live up to the expectation.

Director read the pulse of masses quite well. Action scenes are well shot.

Plus Points:

Ajith

Stunts

Interval bang

Minus Points:

Tamil flavour

Songs

First half confusion

Analysis:

Director Siva who made his debut in Kollywood with this film selected a mass entertainer. He included all elements which will attract masses. First half included comedy and the pace picks up with the interval bang which is a treat to masses.

The pace of the film never slows and this keeps viewers interested. Role of villains could have been scripted in a more powerful manner.

However tamil flavour in the film becomes minus point.
