We’ll updates you the cast performances with Venkatadri Express film reviewChota K Naidu is the cinematographer and Ramana Gogula provided the musical scores. Gowtham Raju is the editor. The film is touted to be a youthful comedy entertainer
Nagineedu is a strict father who wants everyone in his family to follow the list of rules he has made. He tolerates no one
and who hit hundredth mistake will be sent out. For the occasion of his elder son Brahmaji marriage, the family boards Venkatadri Express to go to Tirupathi. Sandeep, the elder son of Nagineedu, misses the train and hits 100th mistake. How he manages to go to Tirupathi and what happens next is the rest of the story.
Sundeep Kishan did the same
performance like his previous flicks. Nagineedu one again has portrayed a
good character and did justice to his role.
Tagubothu ramesh and
Sapthagiri have done absolutely good job with their comedy performance.
Debutante Rakul preet is okay. And rest did their job well.
When all the film subjects these days are revolving around love and romance, the director, Merlapaka Gandhi and Sunddep Kishan made a difference by choosing a unique story. Though you can find few flaws during the establishment of story, the film is made with good amount of entertainment, twists and emotions. We should appreciate the director, who is a debutante, for making this film without working under any one.
Introduction of all the characters in the movie with the voice over of Allari Naesh is quite interesting. Most of the directors fumble in handling a road film. Director Gandhi clearly knew what he was dealing and made sure that the film doesn’t go off track. Whenever the proceedings seemed monotonous he has cleverly banked upon comedy and this tactic has worked in favor of Venkatadri Express.
At a point even comedy didn’t help much as the director tried to drag the movie unnecessarily. He should have kept it simple rather going for an elaborate two and a half hours film. Had this been a two hour film, Venkatadri Express might have been thoroughly entertaining without any hassles.
Climax is good but that is dragged too. Director’s over dependence on comedy handicapped the movie to some extent. Barring these negatives, this movie is an entertaining ride. Train journeys are often boring and those unwanted stops due to ‘crossings’ wouldn’t be exciting. Watching Venkatadri Express too has some of those boring moments, but on a whole it will entertain and keep you engaged most of the time.
This is not a regular romantic flick. Narration of each and every scene were clearly compiled and pictured. Comedy by Sapthagiri and Tagubothu Ramesh are funny enough. Conversation in the pre-climax between Nagineedu and Sandeep Kishan will remind you Bommarillu climax.
Ramana Gogula is back with his music. Chota K Naidu’s camera work is the major highlight of the movie. CG work in a song is really eye catchy. Cinematography is good. Ramana Gogula is back with his soothing music. Editing and CG works are really good.
Final word: Overall Venkatadri Express movie is a single time watcher.
