Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu Story:

It is a typical love story that takes place between a 8year boy and the same age girl.From his child hood,he starts loving that girl.They will turn in to 20’s but they still love eachother.It is a kind of love @ first sight.

Each one of us will have a school crush,college crush,graduation crush and even work place crush (now-a-days).That is a cycle where people will try to get  attached and finds some convenience in each other’s company.Nobody can deny this fact.

But in this movie,the hero and heroine will develop a kind of crush that will get convert in to Love.They both will realize that it is Love @ some stage.The whole problem starts when girl starts loving the boy.Then she develops some kind of possessiveness’ and starts cribbing the hero and she wants to know how much deeper the hero loves her.How they overcome this possessiveness and attains maturity and understand each other is the rest of the story.

Stars performances in  Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu:

Nani plays the role of a boy next door. His character is plain and simple as every Gautam Menon’s hero. According to the character demands he manged to deliver subtle performance through which every young boy/men. Boys will identify themselves with Varun’s character.

The character of Jessie in YMC is undoubtedly an iconic character in the present day cinema. There are no other heroine characters in the past decade which have their influence so much on youth. Gautam Menon tried to repeat the same magic with Samantha in this movie too but failed. Characters like Jessie do happen once but can not be re created always. Samantha does a good as Nithya but any comparison between Jessie and Nithya will leave Nithya far behind in the race.

Just like in Ye Maya Chesave Krishnudu played a good role in the movie. He has some healthy comedy which goes with the story. There are certain comical moments between Nitya and Varun and all of them are dealt well.

Technicalities in Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu:

The pattern/feel of the movie is almost similar to Ye Maya Chesave. The director chose an excellent subject which connects with present day youth. He aptly depicted the mentality of the current generation. However, as in every movie of him there were some lapses in the narration of the story but the value of the subject manages to hold the movie well.

When Ilayaraja is scoring music for a movie and that too for Gautam Menon’s movie it is obvious to have high expectation on the music part. This department may let down people who go with huge expectations. There are some moments which have excellent background score which involves the audience in to the story. All the songs are good and neatly shot.

Audience watching the movie would always feel the mood of  Ye Maya Chesave. The character of Nitya almost reminds us Jessie in YMC. The youthful confusions between the couple will make the audience compare YVM  with YMC.

What`s in Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu for Box Office:

The movie started off well but the pace decreased as it approaches the interval block. The second half started well and remained good through out. The movie as a whole is a good watch but the comparisons with YMC will prove fatal for it’s box office prospects. We will have to see how the targeted audience will embrace it.
