Birthday Wishes Pour In For This Great Director

The versatile director of Kollywood, Shankar who defined the new age Cinema with his maverick films is going to have a low-key birthday (August 17) celebrations this year. The Director is all set to bounce back yet again with his big film ‘Indian.

The fans of the Director are wishing him on his birthday on Twitter and are showering heaps and praises for the director’s journey. Even celebrities are sending wishes to this great director via social media.

Shankar has come from Director SA Chandrasekhar School. He is one of the assistants to him. Later when he pitched the film ‘Gentlemen to the then top star Sarath Kumar, he denied. Several producers too denied the project saying it is an over budget film but Action King Arjun and AM Ratnam have come forward to make the dreams of Shankar into a wonderful film.

With every film he has become a wanna be director for all the superstars in the country. He has redefined filming and storytelling with his impeccable films like Aparichitudu and Robot. He is irreplaceable and many of his assistants are doing great in Kollywood one such assistant is Atlee who is a prime director in Kollywood at a very young age!

Superstar Mahesh Babu has sent wishes to this Director and wished him good health. He praised the talent of Shankar in the tweet.
