If Not Prabhas, ‘Adipurush’ May Not Possible

Prabhas upcoming movie ‘Adipurush’ is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films among the fans. The film, directed by Om Raut is touted to be an epic drama and will see the Saaho actor as Lord Rama. The film will be a screen adaptation of the Hindu epic ‘Ramayana’.

Earlier, the director said that he chose Prabhas for the role as the Baahubali actor has the depth required to essay the character.

In a recent interview, the director has once again lifted the Darling actor to the sky saying that without Prabhas, he would have not made Adipurush. Answering to the question, why he picked Prabhas, the director said that Prabhas has pure eyes and the eyes are a reflection of the heart. It has to be Prabhas to play this role, otherwise, he would not make the film. The director also said that he is blessed as Prabhas like his subject, narration, and accepting the project is a big deal for him.

Backed by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, the pan-India project will be shot in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously. The film also stars Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, as the mastermind antagonist, Lankesh. The film will hit the big-screens in 2022.
