Legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam passed away on September 25 at a hospital in Chennai. After battling coronavirus for 52 days, he breathed his last in the afternoon, a day after his condition turned extremely critical. The entire film industry and fans of the veteran singer are mourning his loss.
Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas has also taken to her Instagram to mourn the loss of the veteran singer. She shared a picture of SPB on her Instagram story and wrote a heartfelt note.
“RIP SP Balasubrahmanyam sir. Your songs are a huge part of my childhood memories. Your voice will always be heard and your legacy will live on forever. My deepest condolences to the family,” she wrote.
The iconic singer sang more than 40,000 songs in a career spanning nearly 55 years and composed music for around 45 films in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil and Hindi.
